Arm training has traditionally been dismissed as "non-functional," with performance coaches opting for more conventional exercises like squats, presses and hinges. 

But, with the right programming and exercise selection, you can actually improve shoulder, elbow, and ribcage function with smart arm training.

One of the best uses of our time in the weight room is to improve strength AND mobility at the same time.

While those traditional moves like barbell squats and presses may compress the system further, reducing functional range of motion, the exercises in today's video actually open range while improving key qualities like shoulder internal and external rotation.
